In the small town of Havenwood, South Carolina, two families are intertwined by a tragedy that will forever change their lives. The Coopers and the Ryans have been friends for generations, but when a drunk driver kills the Coopers' teenage son, everything changes. The Ryans' son, who was driving the car, is haunted by guilt and grief, and the Coopers are left to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives.

Jodi Picoult's Love You Always is a beautiful and heartbreaking novel that explores the complexities of love, loss, and the human condition. Picoult is a master at creating unforgettable characters, and the Coopers and the Ryans are no exception. The novel is told from the alternating perspectives of the two families, and we see how each of them is coping with the tragedy in their own way.

The Coopers are struggling to come to terms with their loss. The mother, Jolene, is consumed by grief and anger, while the father, Dan, is trying to hold his family together. The Ryans are also struggling, but in a different way. The father, Michael, is a successful lawyer who is trying to protect his son from the consequences of his actions. The mother, Gillian, is a stay-at-home mom who is trying to hold her family together while dealing with her own grief.

As the novel progresses, the Coopers and the Ryans must learn to deal with their grief and find a way to move on with their lives. They must also learn to forgive each other, and themselves. Love You Always is a powerful and moving novel that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
